About Me
I was born and raised in the historic city of Chester, where my love for art first began. After spending some time exploring and working in London, I went on to study at the University of Brighton, where I completed both my degree and Master’s in Fine Art. It was there that I really began to find my voice as an artist.
Since then, my journey has taken me all over the world—travelling, absorbing different cultures and landscapes, and letting those experiences shape the way I see and create. During that time, I began selling my work both nationally and internationally, with a growing focus on creating bespoke pieces tailored to specific people and spaces. That personal, collaborative approach to art really became the heart of my practice.
After becoming a mum, I felt a strong pull back to my roots, and I’ve been back in Chester now for over a decade. It's where I live, work, and continue to grow as an artist—drawing on my past experiences, my surroundings, and everyday moments for inspiration.
My work often blurs the lines between painting, drawing, and mixed media. I like to let pieces evolve naturally—starting with sketches, scribbles, or photos, then building through texture, mark-making and layers of paint. Sometimes it’s the mood of a place, sometimes a feeling I can’t quite put into words, but I let that lead the way until the piece feels complete.
Whether I’m creating for a gallery wall or working on a commissioned piece for someone’s home or business, my goal is always the same: to create art that feels honest, expressive, and deeply connected to its space and story.
